This source leaves a lot to be desired after the last handful of shows. It sounds like another Mike Grace Multi-Track recording but with 5 to 6 cassette generations in the source lineage. Set 2 sounds better, possibly 3 to 4 generations? With that said, this source doesn’t take away from the energy of the performance.

Apparently there were some major sound problems to start the show. Chalk Dust was attempted twice but had to be aborted both times. After a long pause they open with a blistering Llama but had to pause afterwards to tinker with the sound again. YEM is very enjoyable! Cool Who Knows tease during the jam section. Brief cheeseburger rap in the VJ (similar to 6/1/90 & 2/22/91). Nice segue from Landlady into Destiny. Solid Melt. Reba has beautiful little jam. Smokin’ Fire to close out set 1.

It almost sounded as if the pitch was sped up for this lightning fast Oh Kee Pa opener. The band came out to play for set 2! Inspired versions of Suzy and Antelope follow. Great intro to Antelope with vocal scatting. The jam is equally impressive. Strong versions of Foam, Stash and Jim. Tape flip during Guelah. Fish is introduced as The hardest man in show business, the late Henrietta. Kuroda is introduced as Cooter. lol Fish gives a shout out to Colorado taper, “Erik the Viking”. Brief tease of Whole Lotta Love during Terrapin. Page teases Let’s Go over the HYHU outro. A nice Mike’s Groove wraps up a fire set. Golgi was a second encore after the band left the stage after performing Magilla.
