The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
@officercookies said: my friends theory, But do you think the jam at the end of farmhouse was a possible beginning to 2001(Also Sprach Zaspura for the A in fuck your fAce) that Fish just never started to drum for? It seems like Paige just gave up and decided to play Alaska instead, which is a shame cause thaty would have been a sweet slot for some funky 2001[/quote]
I agree with your friends theory, mostly because thats exactly what i thought when i heard it. but not for the Page reason your friend suggests. i believe, it was in typical Phish fashion to play a 'musical practical joke' if i may. it sounded too contrived, yet in my opinion 2001 was the most logical choice, so the band said "no" lets fool em all and play something different with the letter A.
